Home LED lamp purchase tips: only choose the right one, not the expensive one!

At the beginning of the new year, many friends are planning to replace the old lamps at home or decorate the new house. Visual and practical LED lights are naturally the first choice, but how can you choose the one that suits you from hundreds of brands and models?

1. LED, incandescent lamps, energy-saving lamps can not be distinguished?

Incandescent lamps work on the principle of tungsten filament heating, which is our common round head bulb.

Energy-saving lamps belong to the category of fluorescent lamps, which rely on fluorescent powder to emit light, and the price is more expensive than incandescent lamps.

The LED lamp adopts the principle of diode light-emitting, the energy saving effect is better than that of the energy-saving lamp, and it is about 40 percent brighter than the energy-saving lamp at the same wattage.

Second, what types of household LED lights are there?

1. Bulb bulb: The length is similar to that of incandescent bulb, and it can directly replace traditional incandescent bulbs and energy-saving lamps.

2. LED tube: using light-emitting diode as the light source, suitable for ordinary indoor lighting

3. Ceiling light: As the name implies, it is installed on the ceiling, and is generally used in rooms with high usage rates such as the lobby, bedroom, bathroom, etc.

4. Downlights: recessed lamps embedded in the ceiling, all the light is projected downward, which belongs to direct light distribution.

5. Ceiling light: generally installed directly on the ceiling, used for lighting in aisles, corridors, balconies, toilets and other areas.

6. Spotlights: It is used for lighting of special facilities such as single buildings and green landscapes, and there are few ordinary households.

3. Select LED lights according to color temperature

The color temperature naturally includes two tones, warm and cold. It is recommended to choose warm-colored LED lights in the bedroom and living area, which is similar to the skin tone and makes people feel more warm and comfortable.

For kitchens, basements and other places that need bright light, it is recommended to use LED lights with cool colors.

Fourth, choose LED lights according to the layout of the functional area

1. Living room: In general, due to the height limitation of the house, it is best to choose a ceiling with both size and brightness. The main light must ensure the brightness, otherwise it will feel very depressing. Decorative lights look at personal preferences, mainly aesthetics.

2. Bedroom: The overall lighting should not be too bright, not suitable for complicated chandeliers and decorative lighting, and warm circular LED lights are more suitable. Bedside lamps are mainly warm colors, try to be darker.

3. Restaurant: People take food as their heaven, and good lighting can make the dishes more delicious. For restaurants, etc., you can choose multiple lamps with more fancy structures.

4. Kitchen and bathroom balconies: Because they generally have suspended ceilings, integrated lamps can be selected, with high brightness, moisture-proof, simple and elegant.

5. How to distinguish the quality of LED lights?

1. Check whether the LED lamp power cord has the CCC safety certification mark: At present, China has a mandatory national standard "Safety Requirements for Self-ballasted LED Lamps Above 50V for General Lighting" (GB24906-2010). Check whether there is a note on the package.

2. Look at the packaging: The state mandates that LED lighting manufacturers mark the following contents on the outer packaging of the product: rated voltage, voltage range, rated power, and rated frequency.

3. Check whether the charged body of the lamp is exposed. After the light source is installed in the lamp holder, the fingers should not touch the charged metal lamp holder.

4. Check the appearance of the lampshade for cracks and looseness, whether the various interfaces are tight, and whether there are any traces of repairing that have been pryed.

5. There should be no looseness or tilting between the lamp head and the radiator.

In addition to the above points, the purchase of household LED lights is to see whether it conforms to the design style of the room and whether the price is acceptable.
